Alexander Wang Fall 2020 READY-TO-WEAR

The entire world has been affected by the Covid-19 and well, there have been many fashion events that had to be cancelled or postponed.

There are many runway shows that sadly, won’t be taking place this year due to social distancing. But, for Alexander Wang, he was already planning to pass over the 2020 pre-fall season for a bash for his brand’s 15th anniversary.

On September, 4th, he debuted his “SHOT TO SHOP BY STEVEN KLEIN” lookbook for his ready-to-wear Fall 2020 collection. And yes, indeed, these were shot by Steven Klein.

Here are some of my favorite looks from his ready-to-wear Fall 2020 collection:

In this lookbook, we see Alexander Wang bringing in different styles to meet a woman’s needs – from suits, to dresses and skirts; to casual attire and school-girl looks. I particularly love the knuckle-length sleeves with the slits on each – allowing the sides of the hands to peek out.

He uses colors of black, white, dark fern green, grey, champagne gold and red. His blazers and coats are the perfect mix of over-sized meets hourglass. Also blended in the lookbook are touches of denim, animal print, sheer and smoke-patterned pants.

What do you think of this lookbook?

What are your favorite pieces?
