The #1 Secret To Grow Your Hair Longer & Faster

This will change your genetics!

Okay, so maybe it won’t change your actual hair DNA (I exaggerated), but I absolutely trust that using this secret will give you a boost in hair growth regardless of your usual hair growing rate.

I’m sure you have all heard of rice water that has been tried and tested on the internet, and I am here to assure you that, from personal experience, this is the ultimate hair growing miracle!

I have 3B hair which can be quite hard to manage.  It’s neither weak nor strong, and it highly depends on which products I use that will determine the finish result.

As someone who doesn’t have hair length in their DNA, I have always wanted to have long, thick, endless hair ever since I was a kid.  I have tried hair growing tablets, pricey hair products, different brands, shampoos, conditioners, and many natural products!

Rice water is my number one hair grower and because of it, I have been able to chuck my hair extensions away!

Who discovered rice water for hair?

Huangluo, a village in Guangxi, China, which still keeps to its ancient and traditional customs for over 3000 years, have more than 200 women still living there.  For these Yao women, they have always believed that long hair is a symbol of beauty.  Since they were young, they would wash their hair with fermented rice water.  The benefits of this include hair growth, reducing grey and white hair and increasing hair softness, making your hair feel lightweight.

The Yao Women’s Original Recipe

  1. put a considerable amount of water in a pot (there is no quantity given)
  2. add the following:
    1. herbs (I’m assuming of your choice)
    1. pomelo peels (Pomelo is an Asian fruit that is closely to grapefruit)
    1. Chinese tea bran
  3. bring the water to a boil

My Recipe

Things you’ll need:

  1. a large bowl
  2. white or brown rice (I always use white)
  3. cold water
  4. a glass jar or plastic spray bottle

  1. add 1 cup of rice to the bowl
  2. rinse the rice for a few seconds to remove impurities and dirt (not too much as you don’t want to pour out the nutrients)
  3. add cold tap water until it covers the rice.  (Depending on the amount of rice, don’t add too much water because we are trying to get all the concentrated nutrients without diluting it further)
  4. stir and mix the rice with your hand and fingers.  By doing this, you’ll see the water becoming “murky”.  Do this for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Leave the mixture to sit for about 3-4 hours to draw out all the nutrients.
  6. Strain the water into a glass jar or spray bottle (I use a spray bottle)
  7. Leave the jar or bottle in room temperature for a day to allow it to ferment.  By the second day, keep the water in the fridge to avoid a bad smell from developing.

I use the rice water 4 times for my 4 washes in total.  For the first 3 washes, I spritz the rice water onto my roots after I have towel dried my hair – before I start my blowout (I blowout my hair with the rice water on). On the 4th wash, once I have shampooed and conditioned my hair, I rinse my hair using all the rice water, I have it sit for about 5 minutes, and then rinse with lukewarm water.  I make a new bottle for the next wash.  Because I wash my hair every 3-4 days, a bottle of fermented water would last me for approximately 2 weeks.
